This is the fifth session on letting go of the six core emotional states (Apathy, Grief, Fear, Lust, Anger, and Pride). As we open ourselves to living from the present, our ego lashes out. Our thoughts to attack, whether geared towards ourselves or others, can go into full force at this time. Our ego is not ready to let go and has no intent on doing so. Our feeling of being upset can be boiled down to the ego fighting for its very existence. Thus letting go of this anger and the urge to attack is a key part of our liberation.
