Lesson 1 Understanding the Inner Critic

Your Inner Critic is the voice of old survival patterns, formed in childhood to make sense of pain, uncertainty, or unmet needs. It’s the internalized echo of fear, blame, and perfectionism, often saying things like “I can’t,” “I’m not good enough,” or “I’ll never…” Though it once tried to protect you, it now holds you back in cycles of doubt and hesitation. By recognizing this voice for what it is—a conditioned pattern, not your truth—you can begin to soften its grip and step into a more empowered, compassionate way of relating to yourself.
