Calming your nerves down by relaxing our vagus nerves. We heal better when we are relaxed.

5 in, 7 out
When getting worried and stressed one minor issue can ruin my whole day and take over. If I allow 3 minutes to practice this breathing technique I can calm myself to enable the rest of the day to be unhindered.

Nice and relaxing.
I felt very relaxed and in just 3 minutes. I will use this method if something or someone has pushed me off track, to enable me to move on and forget.

Evening calm
I learnt that this practise can help me to relax and release the stresses of the day. When I did this today, it helped me decompress from the day and enabled me to enjoy my evening in a really peaceful way!

Worried
I Learned that if you’re worried about something just take a deep breath in and a deep breath out and it will release from your mind.

Stress
With all that is going on in the world, it’s hard not to stress. This meditation really helped me control my breathing and make me feel more calm.

Meh
I have a hard time focusing on the breathing. My mind goes elsewhere.

The start of the meditation was a lot of words - very repetitive and distracting
The instruction was out of sequence - on one hand advising very slow in breath and much slower out breath while the words from the instructor seemed at twice TG EC pace my breath was at so found myself racing to catch up??

Wave of Emotion released.
At first I had the “I don’t want to do this” reaction coupled with that internal itchy scratchy sensation. However I persevered through it and gently told myself to try to keep going. I did and then I felt my body and I had tension in my neck. Next thing I know I felt a wave of emotion well up inside me like a wave and then it released and I had tears in my eyes. It took a couple of breaths to fully let that pent up emotion go. However it did leave me. In all honesty I do not know if I feel better in myself. However I do not have the tension in my neck anymore.

Relax
We heal when we are relaxed, take deep long breaths, practice soft belly breathing- ways to communicate with our body through breathing

Day one
I learned that depending on different situations throughout the day I need to be aware of how I allow things to affect my mood. The breathing did help calm my nerves.

A good reminder...
I forget to breathe deep when very anxious, so this was a good reminder.

Stressed
I have learned that I need a break to take care of myself and reflect on my day. My stress has caused so much anxiety and heartache. I am unable to perform my task with my kids.

Calming breaths
I learned that our bodies heal best when we are relaxed. If we are worried about being sick we will get better slower.

Calming your nerves
Instantly felt much calmer and relaxed after doing this breathing technique. Easy to follow and really helped me. I will be using this technique whenever I start to feel anxious.

First time I tried this type of breathing meditation
In my prior meditations focus was placed on clearing my mind... and so while there was the counting of breath, there wasn’t an emphasis on the quality of breath, but more of an observation. It’s a nice tool to add to my toolbox.
