The words we say to people can really have an impact. What kind of things do you say to others and more importantly what kind of things do you say to yourself?

Chapter closed! (Mostly)
For those Aura tribe members who’ve been following my tribulations and offering me such GREAT encouragement the last looong year, I’m THRILLED to say I’ve gotten some closure! I finally received my disability settlement from the Social Security department! Miracle of miracles! Now to navigate the appeal process with my lawyer to try and obtain ongoing benefits! They actually said that “I WAS disabled for a time, but I’m not any longer!) Funny, I don’t feel “better”! I was laid off the one job I managed to get for myself following the stroke and long hospitalization because I wasn’t able to keep up with the speed of business any longer! I’d FORGOTTEN SO MUCH! So now? Into business for myself again I suppose! My old mentor into the sign business had moved out-of-state but has now returned and opens a small sign shop again. I’m hopeful that he’ll keep his promises of using my services to provide graphic design to his customers! I still have a LONG way to go to get myself back up to speed with the computers and software for signmaking, but I’m confident I can do it if it’s just freelance and occasional!

Encouraging Once Again
Just like the practice I took yesterday with the pack of wolves, I learned even more about how encouraging words can really make a difference when it comes to helping people get through tough times.
