Listen to how a dog finds itself a place to retreat. How often do you take time out for your own personal retreat?

I can relate
I wasn’t sure where the story was going in the beginning. But after listening, I can certainly relate and it made me laugh a little. :)

Retreat
This meditation was not only funny, but also an eye-opener. We are told in this meditation about a random dog that would come to a woman’s house looking for refuge, be it because of the weather or any other reasons... like the clarification on why a well groomed Labrador would be walking around aimlessly, even though it had a collar: it was because the dog was getting away from the noise that would constantly happen in its house. We also need time for ourselves; we need to escape from all the noise that this world brings into our lives. Zone out for a little bit, or take a sabbatical and try to tune in with your inner self.

Retreating
I learned that giving yourself time to rest and recharge is just as important as completing tasks at hand.

Peace
We should follow in dogs footprints. They love unconditionally and they look for peace and keep coming back for it.
