A safe place to feel unsafe
We have moments when we don’t feel safe. Whether it be thoughts that cloud our mind. Interactions with people around us. Or observations from perceiving the world. Though we do not feel our best in the moment, we can create solace in our mind. Escaping to our safe haven. Whether real or imaginary, the feeling is authentic. Sometimes instantaneous. Honoring our feelings. Being present. Giving ourselves space to feel unsafe in a safe “place” is just the comfort we need. Secure and at peace once again.
