A safe place to feel unsafe
We have moments when we donโ€™t feel safe. Whether it be thoughts that cloud our mind. Interactions with people around us. Or observations from perceiving the world. Though we do not feel our best in the moment, we can create solace in our mind. Escaping to our safe haven. Whether real or imaginary, the feeling is authentic. Sometimes instantaneous. Honoring our feelings. Being present. Giving ourselves space to feel unsafe in a safe โ€œplaceโ€ is just the comfort we need. Secure and at peace once again.

Following this meditation, I now want to fully explore my safe space. I am naturally quite a visual person and so I want to explore it by drawing it and that way I can keep it with me in my bag to look at when I need to enter my safe space!
