Today you will reconnect with your forgotten body as a way to shift back into your felt senses and out of the constant stream of thinking. When we’re more in tune with our bodies, we are more able to recognize and respond to body states such as hunger, tiredness, and anxiety with kindness and wisdom. We will also reflect on all of the distractions that can pull us away from sitting down to meditate and you’ll learn some more facts about the neuroscience of meditation for a bit of motivation.
