It’s okay to wander
Sometimes life is going to distract you and thoughts will cause you to lose focus. But it’s okay, some days are harder than others but as long as you’re willing to focus, those thoughts that make you wander can be used to help the growth in the meditation process.

Change your relationship with your thoughts.
This is something that I had totally forgotten about and will definitely reimplement in my life. Changing how we relate to our thoughts that will come will aide us in dealing with them more effectively.

Move on
I learned that there’s no reason to judge, we need to let things follow it’s own path and flow with it, it’s not good being like that, life it’s more beautiful if you just live your life and let others live

Flow
Whenever I think of clouds I imagine the shapes in them. Faces, animals, mythical beasts and frozen scenes. I see them dark and heavy with rain or light and fluffy and imagine cherubs with bows and heart shaped tipped arrows diving in and out of them. Clouds can obscure the sun or bring much needed rain. Depending on your perspective they are a blessing or at the very least an inconvenience. A cloudy sky provides shade on a hot day. A cloudy mind may be necessary to appreciate when once they are gone and your mind is clear again.

Change you relationship with your thoughts. Change your relationship with your own self. Y
Cloudy or clear? Your thoughts project your relationship with yourself and the world around you. You can choose to be positive or negative. You can choose to be hopeful or hopeless. In any situation, stop and take a deep breath and choose your reaction. Too quick to judge, or slow to consider options.

Cloudy mind
Picturing my thought floating by like clouds, at varying speeds is a great analogy. I could also picture the days when have trouble letting go of a thought as classic gray cloud that hangs over my head. Next time it happens I’ll try to remember this practice and nudge the cloud to get it unstuck so it can continue to drift along. Namaste

I learned that it’s really easy for our mind to get clouded with many thoughts, but it’s important to let them just be what they are. And to experience them without judgement.
M

Wandering thoughts
I learned that it’s ok for our thoughts to wonder. It’s normal for our minds to produce thoughts and sometimes produce lots of thoughts. Don’t pass judgement on your thoughts just let them float on by and pull yourself back to the present moment.

Cloudy mind
Such a beautiful way to explain our thoughts and tangents as passing clouds. Some days more cloudy than others. Mindfulness is recognizing the thoughts and letting them pass as clouds do in the sky and instead concentrating on our breath. Sounds easy right. Unfortunately, some days are a struggle. Than other days you succeed. It is all apart of the process of being human.

Clouds pass by
I learned that just like clouds my thoughts cluster and then they pass. When I am feeling overwhelmed I can redirect my thoughts to my breathing. Being me peace within the storm.

Picturing a sky
Since I started breathing and mindfulness work, I have enjoyed the idea of my thoughts as clouds, but after working on this for a bit now, when I close my eyes to breathe, I can see the sky in the background now automatically and watch the clouds while still focusing on my breath. It has been a wonderfully helpful metaphor.

If we slow down our breathing and actually feel each breath then we will learn to be able to focus
And we will start to notice each breath become less rapid more mindful

Wandering
My mind kept wandering tonight, but I was able to redirect without judgement. I am so happy with how my state of mind has changed in only two weeks. My method of going to sleep has gone from remembering and berating myself for things I've done wrong or dumb things I've said to meditation and mindful breathing. I also came to realize that while I may remember something dumb I said in a conversation with someone three weeks ago, that person probably only thought "huh, that was a little odd" if they even think that. I can't believe how much more positive of a person I am becoming. Thank you to all the instructors I have enjoyed sessions from in the past two weeks!

Goodbye thoughts
Such a simple and easy reminder of what to do with intrusive thoughts. Put them on a cloud and watch them drift away. Maybe I’ll have a sigh of relief as I bring myself back to mindful breathing or maybe just a refocus on my belly as I gently inhale and exhale. Very nice, Dea. 🙏

The tone of this woman’s voice played an important role in this short but sweet meditation / exercise. I was drawn in and tuned in. My mind was in almost clear focus. An instructors voice and tone play an important role in a meditation. I also liked the comparisons of clouds and our thoughts🙂

Clouds
I like the cloud visualization. Ive been using a path- thinking about the thoughts as pulling my me off my path but maybe its a bit less harsh than that. Its like the teacher said they're just floating along. Acknowledging the thoughts and having awareness of them IS mindful - so maybe my work is to remove judgement and sit with some of the thoughts.

Training our responses
I don’t have to struggle to get rid of my thoughts but rather just let them exist& float on by while returning my focus to my breathing. Just let them happen without reacting badly. Just focus back to my breathing & eventually my responses become neutral.

The more practice mindfulness the more I realize the mayor active practicing mindfulness is mindfulness. Noticing that your thoughts are clouded alone is mindfulness just noticing when your thoughts drift is mindfulness. It’s important not to judge yourself when you thought stray.

Windows of the mind
Great image. I could feel a cloud or two appearing and disappearing. Brooding over anxious situations fills the mind- sky with dark rain clouds. With compassion and faith in one’s self , the rain clouds of the anxious mind - rain gently without thunders and lightening - life giving.....

Present
My breathe helps me "anchor myself in the present." This meditation was packed full of usefulness. I also enjoy Dea's voice. The fundamentals she walks through are what brings me back to meditation. Staying away from judging one's self about thoughts. Letting thoughts flow while observing calmly and bringing my thoughts back to my breath.

I found the imagery of thoughts floating through my mind as clouds through the sky to be quite helpful. It is so easy to judge thoughts as disruptive during meditation but actually they are just a reminder to return to the breathe.

Recognizing the Area where Anxiety Resides in Me
I hold tension and stress in my stomach and chest. When I am anxious about something or cannot focus on anything except what is stressing me out, it makes my stomach feel sick and in knots and my chest feels heavy. I need to practice letting go of this tension because it can be debilitating especially when I have things that have to be done and that will help ease my anxious feelings...recognizing it, reducing it, and changing my brains thoughts about it eases the discomfort.

Cloudy Mind
This seemed to be cut short or something. I can only wonder if there's a longer version of it because as my mind wandered some I came back to find it had already ended. Just silence...I had to check the app to see if it was really over! I'm sure with more use I won't drift so much but it does give an indication of how long my attention span is at this moment in time.

Mindfulness
I loved when she elaborated on this ideology of “Working towards my personal capacity of mindfulness”. Knowing where my thoughts are and why Im on that specific cloud OR why I’m jumping from cloud to cloud. I didn’t realize the importance of mindfulness... bring mindful of your constant thought. Mindfulness seems 🔑 if the end goal is a healthier mentality.

Little pink puffy cloud...
Sometimes I wish more thoughts would generate, when I’m looking for ideas or someone asks me for an immediate comment on something. I think maybe they are there, just floating out of sight. A good intention for the day, to encourage the big duller clouds to move on so the fledgling clouds can have their hour in the sun. Namaste

Breathing is important.
To breathe - just breathe - you need to inhale and exhale. And this is an anchor, hanging from your nose to the present moment. And if you give attention to that anchor...it makes the clouds in the sky of your mind go away.

Clouds in my Coffee . . . ☁️ ☕️
As soon as I saw the title of this meditation, my mind immediately went to that song.
