Bathed in Healing Light
Our body has the amazing ability to repair itself. All it takes is stillness and a little assistance from our imagination. In this advanced meditation, we practice breathing in healing light into our body.
Because I woke up sensing a rundown feeling, I was drawn to send myself compassion. Sitting in an upright position, I began to deepen and lengthen my breathing. Following the narrator’s guidance, I visualized a white shimmering light entering my body on my in breath. With each exhale, this healing light was pushed deeper into my body. Once my body was filled with healing light, I began to incorporate a healing sound on every out breath. Called the triple warmer, I slowly made a ‘hee’ sound as I visualized anything that no longer served me leaving my body in the form of gray smoke. This is just the compassion my body was looking for! *Note that I said advanced meditation. I chose this word because the narrator incorporates a long pause in this meditation, requiring us to be skilled at one-pointedness focus. Also, I added the healing sound on my own. Feel free to play with it as you so choose. Wishing you peace!
