It's was uncomfortable for me to keep my back straight during this meditation. This probably means I walk, run, and sit with poor posture quite often. I will try to be more aware of this.
I learned that taking breaths consciously during stressful situations can refocus you and help bring you back to center and peace
End of meditation
Am I doing something wrong technically or do the meditations no longer have music at the end? It's kind of weird not to have an end point to the mediation?
Focusing on your breathing is really important and can help you during stressful moments to calm yourself down again
A brief but very useful daily tool for re anchoring the calming process
I learned that we have to come together as one whole breath.
It really incredible how this works.
It's amazing how it only takes a moment out of our busy days to help level yourself.
It took my thoughts too a more peaceful and restful time and place
For the most part I liked this. My only hang up was when she suggested noticing the temperature of our breathe. This set off a chain of thoughts for me, "temperature? How do I tell the temperature with my nose? I can't tell, maybe it's cooler but not really, maybe it's all in my mind" etc. this is more on me then the narrator though. Still it did distract me.
On a daily...
Take time to just breathe and nothing else. Taking time to breathe helps put everything else on course.
Taking time to breath
Taking time to breath and enjoying my surroundings is very calming
Learning how to be still and focused in the moment. Returning to my breath, my center, puts me at ease. I wonder how things would change when i try to use this awareness in a moment of being triggered? I will try
I learned that taking the time to breathe is very important in centring myself and being aware of my surroundings.
I learned that taking time out of your day to just breathe makes stress so much lighter. Just breathe and everything will be done in time
I learned that even when a lot of information is thrown at me in class I am able to keep my zen By listening to my breathing
Even breaths in with a pause between each breath slows my pulse my heart beating. I can sense how helpful this to be
We are not always excited
I woke up this morning feeling reluctance. It is raining outside and I did not feel excited about the days tasks ahead of me, and that's ok. Meditation has taught me to notice myself, to be an observer of my emotional landscape without attachment and it's this tool that will help me to change the mood I was in to the mood that I choose to be in, which is peace and happiness.
I need to center myself using my breath
I will try this during my day today. Take time to just breathe. Namaste.
Conscious Deep breaths throughout my day are definitely needed ❤️
It's great to have this advice and i'll use it everyday but UNFORTUNATELY in the main time i feel nothing, maybe I haven't done it well.
A simple but important reminder to do this exercise to refocus my thoughts. As a funny aside, when I get p***** off with my SO, I’ll say “excuse me for a moment, I’ll be right back”. Then I’ll close my eyes and do my 10 breaths and then come back to the issue at hand. Relaxed and refocused. 😁🙏
Focusing on my breathing is something I've always tried to use as a quiz fix when feeling anxious as people will always tell you "just take a deep breath" as if all your emotions are magically supposed to disappear after. However, I learned through this meditation that the thing most people miss when attempting this is taking the time to focus on their breath and eliminate outside distractions for 10 full counts.
Breath is peaceful
Taking ten conscious breaths in a stressful situation helps me to remember that the situation is external to me, and I decide how I will face it.
I learned that doing breathing exercises when feeling anxious or emotional can help bring you back down to the here and now. Counting can help keep focus.
Notice your breathing.
I really love doing exercises like this where you actually focus on just your breathing. Something about this simple action helps so much with calming me down & I take a few minutes for just myself. It honestly is such a simple act yet has a profound effect on your overall wellness. Every time I do this I remind myself to do it more often.
Breathing helps to take my attention off of what is causing me to feel down. It’s helps me to realize that there is so much more to be aware of. Breathing seems so minuscule, but it helps a lot.
I’m always surprised at how good a slow deep breath feels! Planning to take a few more breathing breaks each day😊.
Breathing in the Moment
This was the perfect session to start my day. Last night at work it was very stressful but, I remembered to take some deep breath‘s throughout the night. It did help relieve tension in my body and keep me focused on what I had to do. Reflecting back, I can say that it really helped with my mental state of mind. I find that, no matter how busy it is at work I am always thinking about something else and that causes me to forget things and make mistakes. I’ve been like this all my life even as a child in school when the teacher was speaking to us I was looking out the window at the trees and thinking other thoughts, while still listening to her. As I get older, I find this very distracting and would just like to be more focused on what I’m doing and save my thinking for a better time and place. 🌅🌳
Because I burn I spark with you because I hear you coming my heart races
I learned that...having a sneezing fit as part of a breathing exercise is distracting as all get out!🤣😂😳
Everytime I do it I find it so effective-. I just forget it because it is so simple - like a child in a shopping mall. If one can do only one thing, it should be breathing awareness.
I cannot really share my struggles because you never post anything negative.
I would prefer an uncensored conversation as long as not trolling!
I learned that being mindful of our breaths is a good way to calm down and can assist with refocusing our focus.
Breathing practice. Will try to practice this the whole day 🤔
It’s best to do in quite.. and to do more after the session on here. Pl&p
I learned that
counting my breathes helps me focus on one thing and clears my anxiety
Breathing is Essential
When you focus on nothing but your breath for a second, it can control the rest of the day.
I learned that having a small set point, like your breath, can help calm you down or really enjoy a moment.
It makes me more relaxed and focused. Remember to breath, just take a minute and breath for yourself before you rush into something.
The direction she takes you in is very nice to have for a beginner meditator
I need to focus more on my breathing and just relax throughout the day
Another interesting breathing meditation. Learning to take each breathe in and out slowly and gently to appreciate each breathe as we go about our day.
I am really enjoying using this as a way to wind down for the night. It reminds me to breathe and sends me off to bed with a clear head and happy thoughts. Who would’ve know Meditation could be so effective at relieving stress, sadness, thoughts, and so much more.
The use of breath is a focal point makes sense. It is a constant. It is reassuring. There are other constants in life as well — I just need to find them and hold them in the palm of my hand as a source of strength and inspiration.
I learned that my breathing helps me be centered and peaceful when I can feel it.
Although everything is not perfect our body and mind work together in order to have a perfect unity. (I was sick but mind over matter)
I like the focus on the fact that your breath will be a constant in your life as long as it needs to be. Where regardless of the situation you are in your breath is there and maintaining regardless if it is a difficult or a wonderful one, your breath is there to simply focus on
Breathing for distance from the moment
This not just for the moment but to try to bring this experience to the rest of the day
Counting my breaths helps me to refocus my thoughts. It’s the best way to hit the reset button with your thoughts.
Take time to breathe. I need to do this!
I’m trying to be less stressed by not engaging in things that stress me.
Taking deep breaths will calm me down, and help a lot with stress.
Focusing on my breathing felt great! Stop. Breathe. Counting to 10 is a great technique to add to the breathing awareness because it helps keep my mind from wandering.
I learned that it's important to take time to focus on the now, focus on your breathing. Focus on the fact that you are alive at that very moment and that everything else has a solution. Focus on you.
Breathing, and controlling your breathe is important when trying to be present in life.
I keep learning that breathing consciously will be valuable to my day to day experience. I feel much more calmer after I breath
Manic Monday 2-19-18
In this meditation, which I thoroughly enjoyed, I totally took control of my breathing. I distanced myself from my thoughts, but I could hear sounds around me; however they were non existent. And from from that first deep, long breath I fell into a trance. Thank you, Aura! Have a nice day, Everyone!😀
Manic Monday 2-19-18
Breath Awareness. Inhale. Exhale. Take Control of each breath and feel it as goes through your nostrils and out. I could feel these sensations. Thank you, Dea! Have a nice day, Everyone!😀
Being truly present and aware of your natural breath is an easy way to clear your mind and regain control over whichever situation your in the presence of, especially if you're feeling stressed of anxious. I love taking a few deep breaths to really feel the control spread throughout your body. Our minds are truly in control and conscious breathing is such a powerful tool to utilize.
take 10 breaths and notice each and every one. it feels as if you’re floating and that nothing is wrong in the world.
Breathing is everything
During this process, I learned that no matter how bad or good your day is going, a few breaths can make it a little better.
This was a nice reminder to take a deep breath. I get caught up in my surroundings (baby crying, baby crying, husband complaining, tv, beeping phone, baby crying), and forget to just breathe.
I learned that breathing can really bring down my heart and brain
Breathe, breathe in air....
The body, mind and soul can act as one, fueled and rejuvenated by the breath. Namaste
meditation is actually helpful, it reminded me that if you slow down and just breathe it will be fine.
Exam week 27 feb
That this app could help me, but the voice of the woman who is talking is not very relaxing
I can/ should count 10 breaths in lots of different contexts
I realized that one needs to give time to one’s self for relaxation of the body and mind to release stress and feel bliss
new to this
i learned that taking the time out of my day and doing this makes me feel relaxed and calm
I felt relaxed and not distracted
It’s easy to set your phone down and take as little as 3 minutes to relax yourself
its so easy to just sit down for a couple minutes and relax and ignore the other people in this place for the better of your day
I was able to switch off my thoughts and think about nothing.
I really enjoyed this meditation and enjoy focusing on counting the breath
It is important to return to your breath when you feel stressed and take a minute to collect yourself and clear your mind before doing something irrational
Hard day at work but after venting and relaxing I feel better.
I am worthy. I am smart. I am damn good at my job. My team has my back. Sickness happens and it sucks, it’s hard but it goes away. Clean and move on. If they can’t see or appreciate how hard we work and how good we are then there’s the door. Their opinions don’t determine my worth. I know how good I am.
breathing throughout the day
thankyou for such a great reminder. it’s going to be interesting noticing my breath in different situations or around specific people
Letting my breath happen and observing it is a good practice for my thoughts, emotions, daily successes and failures. It extends to all aspects of my life, nonjudgmental awareness, or mindfulness.
This exercise helped me be aware of my breathing and exhaling. It was effective.
Return to Your Breath
This breathing meditation is wonderful to go back throughout your day. If you are becoming overwhelmed, stressed, or perhaps even enjoying yourself, returning to the breath puts everything back into perspective. Immediately, your mind becomes calm and your body relaxed and grounded. Have a wonderful day! ❤️🙏🏻😊
I’ve found that it’s really helpful to count my breaths - not to high numbers, maybe sets of 10. It keeps me focused on the breath and helps prevent my mind from wandering, though some of that is inevitable.
This exercise was good for helping me stay aware of my breathing and exhaling.
10 cnscious breaths helps to soothe me especially after a long day...just taking a few moments ❤️ it
With every breath I take, my chest feels less heavy -less constricted. Every breath we take, allows us to remember that we’re just that -humans- bound to make mistakes; but understanding that these mistakes don’t define us. With every breath we take, we understand that we can start over again; so, just breathe.
Regular compared to deep full breaths. It’s good to just pause and breath. Namaste
This really helped me to calm my nerves and I’ve learned to take a step back to breath
Breathing mindfully can be so relaxing. Connection with the breathing is so beautiful.
Focusing on your breathing is a very peaceful thing. I felt like it was a great way to focus on myself for a little while and just concentrate on my breath.
Breathing is a good way to Focus while getting rid of negative thoughts or feelings
taking notice in your breaths and focusing solely on them calms the mind and the body, relaxing itself. i just felt that in this meditation and am very grateful :)
A simple practice to remind us to always turn back to the breathe 💗
I really enjoyed, but the pacing was way off. I was really settling in, and then it abruptly ended.
I like guided meditation. My frustration was I got to a deep point, and the guide went silent. I wasn’t deep enough yet.
Mediation teaches us how to become focused and calm by simply closing your eyes and breathing. Being able to focus on things is such a great way to learn
I liked this simple guided meditation focusing on the breath ❤️
Breath regularly, notice the nuances, find the rhythmic breath you have, don’t judge yourself
Camping et restoring session
Focusing on my breath, appreciating it just how it is is very calming me down. I need to remind this meditation for later, to get back to my breath whenever i feel like i need it
Thank you !
