Healing and loving myself
Becoming my own friend, it’s a hard journey because I didn’t like myself for a while. But what I started doing is telling myself the things I don’t like, I said I love it. For instance I did not like my fingers but I started to love them because I keep telling myself my fingers are beautiful💜💜. Praise be to God
This morning
I did three meditations. Two on YouTube one on aura. I liked the grounding one on YouTube and this topped it off nicely. Lovely background music and confirmation that I need to be kinder to myself. I am feeling good. First day in a while I’ve slept normally and woken up early. I used the beach sound on here last night. Very calming. I’m liking aura already!
Intentional thoughts
I learned that focused reflection can help me be more intentional about how I treat myself and help me figure out my needs I also acknowledge that I want to be more compassionate with myself.
I would be more consistent with my self care. Sometimes I allow myself to be around someone that I know is negative, complains, and always talks about the past. A particular person. Someone who no longer serves me. Someone who treats me horribly at times. I MUST let go completely and have no contact. Loving myself does not include putting myself in an environment and allowing mistreatment from him. Thank you for your lesson, Natima.
