WITHIN Meditation
(Guided by WITHIN Cofounder Hannah Knapp) Bring yourself back to the present moment, using your breath as your anchor. Whenever your thoughts wander in meditation, it can be really helpful to have an anchor to bring you back to the present moment. A great anchor you can use anywhere you meditate is your breath. This meditation helps you notice your breath and use it as your anchor. In the longer version of this meditation, we help you use sound as a second anchor to bring you back to the present moment, and additional time to practice in silence.

Feeling of one
I noticed I became one with breath. There was no more body. Just sensations and sounds passing through. It was amazing experience of peace and love.

Just being
Being with your breath is so simple yet so relaxing and mind altering. I am finally able to focus on my breath even with things going on around me. It’s nice to just breath for a few moments

Finding Stillness
This morning there was a lot of background noise during my session such as the dogs barking at the landscapers. As I acknowledged the sounds and focused on my breathing, they would fade into the background. I was still able to find stillness as well as stay in the present moment with my breath. This was a relaxing session.

Time
It will take time to be present but in the few moments I had peace it was very calming. I learned I need to take the time each morning and practice my meditation.

Great Little Session
I was feeling a bit anxious before this and it really helped to calm me some. Of course I still have some apprehension right now given what is happening in the world but I feel much better.

Sounds
With our eyes closed, our other senses become heightened. We can focus on the sounds around us when our mind starts to wander. By gently acknowledging what we hear along with focusing on our breath can bring us back to the present moment. If you are new to meditation, I highly recommend this session.

Focused
It kept my mind from wondering and when it did wonder, bringing it back to my breath made it easier. This helped to calm my anxiety.
