New story
Nitima offers up a new little story tonight, the moral of which might be: reserve judgment until you are aware of the whole story. I learned this lesson, long ago...you never know who that customer in front of you might know. It's important to treat even the most disheveled looking person well...they might be a millionaire in disguise! Or, much more usually, they might work for a large company, and remember to refer you when that company is in need of your services!

Grass Isnโ€™t Always Greener
The grass isnโ€™t always greener on the other side. We often tend to miss out on opportunities in front us because we are often in a hurry to get to our destination. This can apply to our work, home life, self growth, and relationships. We need to learn to be kind to ourselves and others even when we are feeling impatient.

I learned that being kind and patient will bring you much more happiness than being ignorant and rushed.

Observe only
When you are only observing your surroundings and the people inside, you can come from a place of no judgement. Being unkind & impatient w/others only shows how unkind and impatient you are with yourself! Self love spreads to your outer surroundings....the best kind of contagion!!โœจ๐Ÿฅฐโœจ

Be Kind
Never assume. It is so difficult to not be hurried and jump to conclusions. Slow down and consider others.

Patience
A touching lesson about patience and kindness. And judgment! I've never really been the judgmental type. But I can be impatient. When I have made hasty judgments, I'm usually wrong. Even though I'm thinking it, I feel terrible. Also, this was a great lesson on failing to notice the smallest, most beautiful things in our world. Overlooking details. Which then makes me think about how important focus is. Being mindful. I enjoyed your story. I used to waitress through college and you can form a quick judgment at times. Although I was way younger then! I need to tell you that you're a great storyteller. I can picture everything in my mind that you're describing. Thank you.

Be kind, be patient.
I learned that one must not judge a book by its cover; that things donโ€™t always seem as they appear. Iโ€™ve noticed over the past few recent years I have wanted things my way; how I wanted it and when I wanted it. This has caused me much stress and anguish. Patience is a virtue, without it we esteem lack of self control. This story has talk me well.
