Willing myself to find inner silence
When I sleep, most times I can turn off the world around me, withdraw my awareness from fingers and toes, then from hands and feet, from arms and legs, from stomach and even head. Centering in chest, then a mix of sinking and floating into a near dream like state. There is no light, there is no sound, there is no touch, no taste, no smell.
To master my own senses each individually will be powerful tools to gain more mental resilience.
