In this session, I want to share with you 10 affirmations to help overcome overwhelm at work. We all can get overwhelmed at work. The demands we place on ourselves compounded with those placed on us by our managers and teams can cause stress, anxiety, and overwhelm. When we begin to feel these things, it is important for us to recognize them as soon as possible and take action to prevent them from overpowering our will and capacity to perform.

I learned that if I believe I can be successful then I will. This practice helped me to recognise this.
The most important thing I heard which hits home with me… you can ONLY control yourself and what I am doing
I learned that I am entitled to enter every room, sit in every seat and sit at any table! I belong here! I have a purpose
I am discovering that affirmations along with breath work seem to be more helpful to me than meditation when it comes to stress and anxiety. Saying the affirmation keeps me focused while meditation allows my crazy ADD brain to wonder all over.

I loved all the affirmations. Before, I always just told myself “I am one person & can only do so much. I’ll do it to the best of my ability & if anyone gets upset, the world is not over & it’s going to be fine!”.
