Community Relationship
There are several relationships that we develop over time, such as immediate family, significant others, colleagues, and ourselves. However, there is another kind of relationship that we tend to focus on less, and that is our relationship with the community. That is to say our sense of purpose in society, whether that be through service or volunteering, for example. Studies have shown that depression and anxiety can decrease if we place importance in the latter type of relationship as we do with the others. It is sometimes forgotten as we focus on ourselves and immediate surroundings, but equally important.
