Haven’t had this happen before at Aura but I couldn’t stay with this meditation. Listened twice and I still drifted away. At first I thought it was the voice but decided that wasn’t it. Then it came to me that there are some big things in my life I don’t want to accept, people I don’t want to forgive. And those hurts are keeping me from living my best life. Guess I’ve got work to do.

Very helpful
Feel the sensation, listen to the thought, except it, then ask my body what did you next. The challenge is excepting the answer because their mind they want to do some thing else.

i tend to not welcome thoughts and try to push them away. acceptance is not an endorsement. that was a key for me.

When we are unaccepting of our own experiences, thoughts, and feelings, mental tension grows. Give whatever is arising the space it needs, but do not cling or be critical of what is.

Start of freeing my self of my demons
I learned a healthier approach is to assisting with problems like chronic anxiety, PTSD OCD, depression, blah blah. I really enjoyed the app and in fact even relax me so much. I fell asleep so it must be working as I find sleeping really hard. So well done to you guys at App HQ!! 👏👌

I learned that it is important to notice my emotions without becoming attached to them. I can accept that I feel a certain way and know that the feeling will probably change. I can give the feeling the freedom to change without making it a part of me. I need to notice my feelings, accept them and give them the freedom to change. My feelings do not define me and I do not need to let them control me.

Acceptance is not an endorsement or a judgement; it is acknowledgement of what is. It is giving whatever emotion it is that is arising, space to be, welcoming it, and remaining curious about it it , seeing if there is any wisdom there.
