To find its originating point means that it was learned and therefore may be changed or unlearned and replaced with something of your choosing. We learn so much about our self by reflecting on what we have been taught to believe. Namaste!

Our minds can be likened to a garden. I call this "a point of origin.” The purpose of looking for the origin of a behaviour or core belief is to establish a starting place from which you may begin to understand that this behaviour (attitude, belief, or thought pattern) is not entirely of your making. To find its originating point means that it was learned and therefore may be changed or unlearned and replaced with something of your choosing. We learn so much about our self by reflecting on what we have been taught to believe.

Reflect on learned behaviors and beliefs by tracing them back to their point of origin, allowing for change and choosing beliefs that reflect who you truly are.

Who You Are Is Not What You Have Been Taught to Believe

Whenever another individual acts in a hurtful and harmful way, rather than seeking to retaliate and strike back, we are wise to bless them and wish them well. Whatever they did or did not do, while we may have been victimized by it, it had nothing to do with us, but they were under the aegis of ignorance, under the influence of not understanding that there were higher choices available to them.
