Birthdays remind us to count the years we've lived. Blessings remind us to count the moments that changed us. Sometimes the greatest gifts don't arrive wrapped in ribbons—they arrive as people, second chances, or unexpected turns of fate. We rarely recognize them in the moment. Only with time do we realize they were blessings all along.
