The Gardener Who Pruned Spring

Tonight’s story is about Margaret Vale, a gardener who knows how to make everything perfect. Her hedges are straight. Her paths are clean. Her roses are flawless. But slowly, the garden loses its breath. Then a young assistant shows her something simple and difficult: not every wild thing needs to be cut away. This is a philosophical story about control, care, perfectionism, parenting, self-judgment, and learning the difference between pruning life and killing it. Discipline can help life grow. But fear disguised as discipline can make everything sterile. Sometimes wisdom means putting the shears down and saying, “Let’s see what you become.”
