Our past experiences create a story of "me". We believe the story and our belief bring in more experiences that reflect the story we hold on to. The story of "me" when examined is a bundle of thoughts and contracting/negative emotions which are triggered by the thoughts. The past is over but we are still holding on to the narrative. If we want something new in our life we have to let go of the old. Letting the story is possible by 1) Understanding that we are not our thoughts. Once we heal this past we are open and allowing and this allows newness and love to enter our life.
