There is so much beauty to be found in the dissolution and letting go of old stories, fears, patterns, and ideas that no longer serve who we are at our authentic core. Here we can prioritize clarity and prioritize finding our way without the old stories; they hold no weight, no joy, no purpose. Tapping into our soul’s true awareness will take us beyond the imaginings of these old and “comfortable” stories. In this space, we redefine what we tell ourselves.

Dissolving Our Mind's Old Stories

As humans, we experience a conscious energy exchange in every interaction that we have with others. A key reminder here is that everything we need can be found within us. However, when we exchange energy with others, it can benefit us in many different ways, both positive and negative. The goal is to allow an energy flow that only raises us up; one that doesn’t take energy from us, even in conflict or confrontation. The practice of our energetic awareness is a very mindful one and is nurtured primarily from an observatory standpoint. Embrace and observe the give-take of your energy.

Observing Your Energetic Consistency

Where we learn to discover valuable feedback and information in what some may consider being “failures." Failure isn’t defined by a pass or a fail or a win or a loss. Perspective is everything when navigating our path of sobriety. Allowing ourselves to experience non-judgemental reflection amongst the feedback we are receiving in these moments and to allow forgiveness for ourselves here. Allowing love to come in.

The Value Of Feedback In “Failure”

When we embrace a sober lifestyle, we enter into a new way of thinking, feeling, and living in our spiritual and physical bodies. The authentic core of who we are and our senses become elevated and attuned to reality as we know it. It can and will feel like an uncomfortable and uncertain place of experience, but trust in knowing that these adjustments may take time to accept as they are new. With that, even though these experiences may feel “new”, know that they have actually been a part of you all along, you are merely reawakening them. Welcome this newfound part of you as there is so much to discover here.

Believing In Your Intuition & Awareness

Taking risks outside your comfort zone creates a deeper sense of self-awareness and truth in your sober experience. It is empowering to get to know yourself in situations where your limits are being tested and how you recover from them. Lead your own way–it's your story.

No Risk, No Story.

Sober partying can be a very intimidating experience that can feel extremely uncomfortable. However, in that discomfort, we have the opportunity to: have more fun than we ever thought possible, explore and get to know ourselves better, express ourselves in our total authenticity, break down our self-judgments, and awaken our truth. In choosing to be sober, we have so much to be grateful for in life and are lucky to have set ourselves free, which is worth celebrating.

Partying Sober & Getting Free

When we take time to reflect, we learn more about ourselves and learn how to separate ourselves from our thoughts and feelings. We can be quick to judge ourselves, quick to avoid, and quick to react. More times than not, reflection happens when our surroundings are calm and quiet. This track is a kind reminder to use this time to discover more about yourself beyond the surface and to always come back to positivity at every moment.

A Note On Self-Discovery

The beginning of a New Year doesn’t have to define the intensity of your commitment to yourself and the changes that you want to make. The intensity is defined by you and you only. It is defined by wanting to experience and become closer to your highest truths. Perhaps you’ve previously tried to make some adjustments and changes in your life that didn't last and that’s okay. You always have the opportunity to move forward and begin again, when you’re ready. Surrender with the acceptance that timing is never perfect. This process of beginning again is slow and moves as though time isn’t a constructive concept. See your progress in the here and now.

Begin Again, When You’re Ready

When we are busy or distracted, coming back to a moment of peace within ourselves feels really good. Drinking water consistently and more of it can help to bring us there. Water is calming, healing, and grounding—from nature to support you and your body and mind. It is easy to overlook its importance in our daily lives. This is a friendly reminder to incorporate more water into your day with purpose and to possibly create your own ritual around it.

Water: A Healing Ritual

There are no parts of you that should be hidden because you are unsure of how to process them or express them. You are amazing just as you are and for all that you are. Try to think of your vulnerability as a light that is shining upon the parts of you that need to be accepted by you and only you. Keep in mind that there is nothing wrong with these feelings that you are identifying. As you may be exploring a sober lifestyle, you may notice that you feel vulnerable as the surroundings of your previous “comfy” internal and external day-to-day have shifted. Remind yourself that this is normal. Identify and accept these feelings for all that they are. The world wants to know and see you in all of your truth.

Practice in leading with trust in all that we do. There is no hurry in gaining this trust with ourselves as it is a forever evolving experience. Trust in ourselves, our experience, and what lead us here. This trust is where we are at home, it is where we are the safest, it is exactly where we are supposed to be.
