We're both big fans of Lo-Fi music and have often wondered how singing bowls would sound in a lofi track. With that in mind, Travis carefully developed his own take on a singing bowl, lofi song; integrating the Djembe, and multiple singing bowl performances layered together to create this soothing meditation track. This tongue drum & crystal singing bowl sound bath was recorded on a cliff in the forests of the cascade mountain range during a meteor shower and proceeding through a glorious pink & purple sunrise. The wilderness that surrounded us found its way into the music & you can feel the natural beauty in the notes of the tongue drum. This took us 1 year to record this track. Heavy equipment resulted in a failed attempt to hike to this cliff but we returned more prepared 1 year later and succeeded.

Aries is said to be the sign of action. Aries are known for their fiery & vibrant energy as well as confidence & ambition. In this sound bath the thunder tube was chosen to represent the God of War, Aries, as this instrument is filled with energy & new life. The deeply grounding energy of the symphonic gong was chosen to represent power & strength and is supported by the Root crystal singing bowl (note C). The Solar Plexus singing bowl (note E) represents courage & strength. The Third Eye bowl (note A) was chosen to represent the head which is said to be ruled by Aries.
