Autumn, my favorite time of year...or is it. It's just a little ahead of Spring. It's a time that can bring excitement and remind us that Life. Is. Good! Whether or not we feel that way. Let's listen and see if we can't get our feelings to match.

The Road Less Traveled

The future is your friend! I know, it may not feel that way but thank God feelings are not facts. Emotions can carry you far away to a lost place where you believe you will never be found. Life's pain can sometimes be unbearable. I am living proof that it will be better.

Embrace the future, despite painful emotions; things will get better.

Years That Are To Be

The things that count. Upside down? Inside out? Lost sight of truth and reality? We all do. In those moments, it's time to stop, take account, and remember. Your world can be righted. Just ask and He will help.

The world turns and swirls daily but we do not have to bend to its will or be controlled by it. Be reminded of God's rest and remember how He can guide us to peace.

Lost and lonely. Even when surrounded by a great number of people we can feel alone and forgotten. But are we? Is it just a feeling or something we're telling ourselves? Regardless, it can feel overwhelming. I feel the same way too, so let's walk through this together.

You Are Not Alone

Life is never as good as it seems and in turn, is never as bad as it seems. Trouble comes to us all but we know someone who has faced the same trouble and risen above it. Perhaps we can even boast of our troubles because we know that God's grace is bigger than anything this world can throw at us. I've always come out better and stronger on the other side. Knowing this makes the difficult times a little less difficult. God's got you!

Life has ups and downs, but knowing that others have faced and overcome similar struggles, and believing in God's grace, can make difficult times easier.

Enveloped in constant negativity, it's easy to become discouraged and downhearted. Let's take some time to focus on the wonderful things that God is and does.

Anger, Strife, Hatred, Division...have we lost our way? I say, yes! We sit in front of our screens and say things that we would never dream of saying in person. Living in a world that is completely about...ourselves. There is a way to correct this and get us talking again.

We have lost our way in a world of anger and division, but there is hope for change through conversation instead of screens.

Love Your Neighbor

The story of Easter. It not only reminds us of what Jesus went through just for God to have a relationship with us but is a reminder that there is new life for anyone who wants it. If you think that you're "too far gone"...think again. Jesus waits to give you another chance...a new life!

Easter reminds us of Jesus' sacrifice and offers hope for a new life to anyone who wants it, regardless of past mistakes.

New Life

How is it that someone (Paul) could feel freer in prison than we feel outside of it? Where did his hope lie? Yes, Paul had a miraculous conversion but other than that he was a person just like you and me. The same God he relied on is the same God that waits for you today.

Paul found freedom in prison through his reliance on God, and the same God is available to provide hope and freedom to anyone today.
