This guided meditation and visualization guides the listener through an experience of meeting and conversing with their 'wise self'. The intention is to create a space where people can connect with their own inner wisdom and get insights or questions answered internally.

My Wise Self. . .
. . . didnโ€™t have a lot to say to me today. Perhaps I donโ€™t have a โ€œwise selfโ€?!?๐Ÿ˜ณ๐Ÿคช๐Ÿ˜ณ. On a more serious note, although there were a few times I had to catch myself from nodding off ๐Ÿ˜ด ๐Ÿ’ค, that was only due to my own extended hours lately. The meditation is very calming, Cassandraโ€™s guidance throughout the meditation is very clear and soothing. I am saving this to try again, as I look forward to continued connection with my wise self. ๐Ÿ’ซ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ’ซ

Sleeping...
I hope my wise self was listening because my physical self was sleeping... I am sure it got thru to me somehow. I will listen to this again, maybe in the morning so I can pay more attention! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ™„๐Ÿ€

Listening...
I am glad I did this one again! I met my wise self who had a gift and some wise advice for me. I invited him in and we sat for awhile. He has some suggestions that could help me get to where I wanted to go but I had a hard time hearing him so I will be doing this one again!! โค๏ธ๐Ÿ‘‚๐Ÿป๐Ÿ€

Very nice and relaxing. Relaxing the body and controlling breathing was key.

The Visit
Every one of us knows that we have our five senses that enables us to fully embrace each experience. We also possess a sixth sense, our wise self or intuition. Quite often, intuition doesnโ€™t get our attention much because most of us are too caught up in the thoughts and voices in our mind to sense it. In order to sense it, we must allow ourselves to become relaxed. In this profound meditation, Cassandra gets us in a relaxed state and then has us visualize our wise self coming for a visit. After allowing my entire body to melt into a blissful state of relaxation, I visualized a door in my mindโ€™s eye. Made of oak and a brass doorknob, I opened this door to invite my wise self in for a visit. Offering my wise self a seat at the table, I pulled up a chair and sat across. Asking my wise self some questions, I listened with an open mind. My wise self told me while I am doing well on this path, there is one thing that needs to be done. That one thing is to give up a habit of mine. I acknowledged that with a nod. Then, my wise self told me to put out my hands. Reaching out my hands, I was given a gift. Looking down at my hands, I noticed it was the gift of patience. Accepting this gift, I am reminded to allow things to happen at their own accord. As the visit was coming to a close, I thanked my wise self for the advice and the gift. Getting up, I went to open the door for my wise self. With one last smile and with a wink of an eye, my wise self vanished as quickly and quietly as it had come. Going back to sit at the table, I pondered on the gift I had been given. It was in those moments when I realized that by letting go of trying to force things, I am free to concentrate on things that are in my control. Things, such as how I treat and respond to myself and others. With a smile on my face, I got up from the chair, knowing that my wise self will always have my best interests at heart. Therefore, I can trust. Namaste ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿปโค๏ธโ˜ฎ๏ธ
