Gratitude sunday
I like to think about sitting from a place of being in the present in my mind as literally being seated in a vast space, and looking around at the various emotions and thoughts that are suspended around me. Some closer, some smaller, some further and larger. When I get caught up, itโ€™s like binoculars and a spotlight on one or a few of those thoughts/emotions and it can overcome me when thatโ€™s all I can focus on. Taking down the binoculars and remembering these emotions and thoughts and their actual state of being outside my true present is like whatโ€™s being said in this meditation. Transforming the anxiety is my relationship with anxiety. With the binoculars down, I can feel calm. And sit with gratitude glasses on. ๐Ÿค“โ™ฅ๏ธ
