Tranquil Moment
So many of us go through life doing things while our mind is busy thinking of the next task. When we do this, we can miss out on things happening before our very eyes. Meditation gives us a pause to be with what is, without any need to control or judge. When we practice meditation on a daily basis, we have our senses lead us into experiences and we learn how to be calm no matter what the circumstance. Breathing in deeply on my inhale and letting out a sigh on my exhale, my body began to soften. With my shoulders dropped, jaw and muscles relaxed, I allowed these waves of tranquility to wash over me, furthering softening to occur. With my body softened, I had arrived in this tranquil moment. In this tranquil moment, I felt a soft and gentle breeze on my skin. In this tranquil moment, I heard birds singing far and near. In this tranquil moment, I smelled the fresh air that this breeze provided. In this tranquil moment, I watched as this body breathed on its own. In this tranquil moment, I am open to the wonder of life. Namaste ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿปโค๏ธโ˜ฎ๏ธ

I couldnโ€™t turn off
Itโ€™s hard for me to just shut down. It was hard not to think about all my goals and all the things Iโ€™d like to do. These thoughts didnโ€™t feel like losses. Just excited for opportunity.
