Blissful State
Our thoughts are very powerful. What we choose to think about can either lift us up or bring us down. In this meditation, Dorothy has us consciously choose how we want to feel and let go of anything that no longer serves us on our out breath. This brings us back to our natural state of happiness.
Sitting in an upright position, I began to focus on my breath. Just being with my breath, I felt the power of Now enter my mind. My breath deepened as I took in all that this moment had to offer. On my in breath, I began to say uplifting words to myself. When I paused at the top of my inhale, I felt the energy of these words in my heart center. On my exhale, I felt any and all thoughts, sensations and feelings that no longer serve me release from my mind and body. After doing this breathing exercise for a few minutes, I felt myself lifted from a mundane state to a blissful state of happiness. Thank you, Dorothy! Namaste ๐๐ปโค๏ธโฎ๏ธ
