Most of us don’t like being angry but have a hard time getting over it. Once you learn the truth about anger, it will be easier for you to understand and release it. Listen to find out what it is. Here are some additional suggestions for working with anger mindfully: 1. Try my breathwork exercise on Aura, “Breathe Frustration Out.” 2. If you have instruments, play an angry song expressing your feelings. (This is your permission to “bang” on the piano. Or to make a drum with pots and pans.) 3. Go for a run. Imagine your feelings playing out in front of you as you run through them. 4. Give yourself a journal prompt and write about why you are angry. With patience, anger can teach us to heal our boundaries and to connect with our inner fire.

Self-Empowerment and Actualization
When we bury or deny our anger, we cut ourselves off from our most creative, powerful, and, yes, loving parts. It can be scary to make friends with our anger, especially when it is barking loudly and showing its teeth, but it always brings new insight, healing, and growth.💙

Accepting Anger
I’m glad I chose this particular meditation today. I personally have an issue with anger. It has caused havoc with family and friends in the past. When my anger appears, I try to silence my words to another level so it doesn’t escalate. I’ve received many articles and books on anger and how to deal with it. I am lucky my family supports me and gives me a safe environment to cherish and grow. This meditation helped me to see my anger in a whole new light and to be not only aware of it but to accept it and learn from it. Thank you for this opportunity.
