A bedtime fable, reminding us of the importance of kindness and care, bestowed unto others as lasting permanence of what really matters. Narrated by Dorothy Ratusny. (Originally Named 'The Present' - a story in the public domain). Sleep softly, beautiful ones! Namaste! xo

A Beautiful Gift
I am blessed to be able to start my day with this story. This beautiful story motivates me to look deeper than the outward appearances of the people we meet and the people we think we know. It inspires me to be kind and loving, it reminds me to be patient and listen to the unspoken need. As I go about my day I will remember the prayer of Saint Francis of Assisi ...for it is in giving that we receive... thank you Aura, thank you Spirit

Wonderful!
What a wonderful reminder to always look at people with an open heart. You don't know what happens at home or in people's lives. Always act with kindness. Thank you ❤️

The power of mother figures
I am overcome with emotion as I see how much a difference it makes in a young person’s life to have a mom and somewhere who cares.

My mom was a special education teacher... this story reminds me so much of how she cared for and taught her students. She passed away this Fall and still her students reach out to me to tell me what a very special teacher she was and how she changed many of their lives with her love and believing in them ... of course the story had me in tears. It was very touching.

Grateful for the programs I’ve created and how I’ve learned to stand in my power as a teacher and to let go of learning the Ayurveda and remembering the why and that it’s about each person.
Everyone needs someone to listen to them And love them. Grateful for the programs I’ve created and how I’ve learned to stand in my power as a teacher and to let go of learning the Ayurveda and remembering the why and that it’s about each person.

I remember when my parents got divorced I had a special teacher like this one who encouraged and supported me in a crucial time and to the point I skipped a grade. The very best teachers don’t work for the money they work for their heart. ❤️

Touched and melancolía
I learned that experiences we face can teach out more than we think we are capable of and how one person can have a lasting impact on lives.

This was similar to what was already on my mind today. Sometimes we don’t notice a problem or figure it out until someone is already hurt. Then we have to hurt in fixing it. That’s what life has taught me in teaching my own Sawyer and being his mom. I didn’t let him be silly enough or be himself and he got unhappy and wanted to leave. So I’m letting him go to his dads. Because I just want my happy Sawyer back.
