The stillness in storms
This recording by Stephen Webb is a great recording for autoimmune pain, internally. I also have autonomous neuropathy system failure pain and symptoms that cause significant pain within abdominal organs. Stephenโ€™s recording significantly anchored a calming founded feeling in my abdomen. Encouraging deeper breathing and this mindfulness recording really developed my awareness surrounding the sensations in my body and help with that.

Gentle Invite
Meditation isnโ€™t about getting something or going somewhere. Rather, it is a practice which builds a bridge to our true selves. In this meditation, Steven takes us through 4 distinct stages for deeper awareness and wise insight: awareness, stillness, openness and curiosity. Sitting in an upright position, I gently invited awareness to my breath. Doing this married my mind to my body and my body to my mind. Moving on to the next stage, I gently invited stillness to arise by allowing the muscles in my body to relax. With my internal world in sync with the outside world, I moved on to step 3 and gently invited openness to sounds in my environment. During these moments, the gentle sigh of my out breath, birds singing in the distance and Stevenโ€™s voice came into my awareness. Then, Steven encouraged me to gently invite curiosity to the sounds I heard. With a curious nature, I noticed that sounds change moment to moment and with a keen ear, I can even hear sounds within the sounds. Going through these stages, I am learning to gently invite life to flow through me with an open and curious nature. Thank you, Steven! I look forward to the next meditation!
