Sleeping needs to be healthy for me. I️ can’t go to sleep at late hours and expect to feel well rested in the morning. I️ need to set a time to get some rest and wake up at decent hours

Ways to get to sleep easier/faster
If you can’t get to to sleep because your worrying about things, write it down before bed and make a rule you can only think about those things while you are writing them and no longer when you are in bed. Avoid being on your phone or watching tv to get to sleep because of the bright light which slows down your melatonin production. Don’t keep checking the time to see how much time has passed and don’t try to force yourself to sleep. Let it happen naturally, accepting that it will happen sooner or later.

I might need to set a schedule as I go to bed. Like put phone down at this time, do breathing exercises before I listen to calm music as I lay in bed. Have a direction towards sleep I think

I learned to gave a better sleep by turning off my phone before going to bed, writing all the issues that I’m worried about and try not to think about them again, if they still hurt me then i can think of them like clouds which are passing in front of my face and fade away... I can listen to a calm music and i think that is the best solution for me

This meditation gave me so many options to work with my trouble sleeping.You have to listen to this if your having a ruff day or if you are a problematic sleeper like me .Trust me it will help . Goodnight.

Writing things down before bed really helps keep stressful thoughts out of your mind
Therefore sleeping is a lot easier. Along with this you don’t have too many thought floating around in your head their all on a page that you can reflect on in the morning.

The music in the background was kind of scary and it made me personally uneasy... pretty good tips on the sleeping part but the voice isn’t clear and you really have to focus to get it because it’s not well articulated

This is awesome!
I learned that there are ways to fall asleep easier. Don’t worry about all the thoughts circling in your head. Have neutral thoughts and focus your mind on something completely random that won’t get your thoughts going. I feel like I will be able to fall asleep much faster now.

Turning on soft music is helping me along with meditation and breathing exercises. Toughest part is writing down any worries or tasks cuz I’m not relaxed after I see how much I need to do.

This was horrible. Way too much going on with all the layering of sounds, talking and music. Her voice wasn’t soothing or relaxing either. This actually made me more alert and awake instead of relaxed and peaceful.

Really need to try some of the advice given in this session I guess! In-and-of-itself this isn't a reading bedtime session, but the advice offered may help me otherwise! Don't think im likely to find myself able to start enjoying some good rest until I can upgrade my bed/mattress though. This one is in poor shape, and causes me to sleep in uncomfortable ways, which, along with my physical discomfort in my very body means little true rest is possible! My neurologist has prescribed a new medication for me which is supposed to make me drowsy as a side effect, but after a few days on it, I'm not finding it very effective for me. Unfortunately.

I learned that I need to settle my mind before bed right now I have a million things going through my head like every other night. I probably won’t sleep till late. I can’t start helping myself I’m too tired to want to do anything. Hopefully with these tips especially writing down my worries for the day it will help deal with this

I really liked these exorcises and I’ll have to try them, I’m a very problematic sleeper, I have insomnia and have found that the sound of rain is the only thing I can fall asleep to. But sometimes it doesn’t work so maybe these will help

I only seem to have one icon on my screen showing sleep even though I gave subscribed to many different ones and when I click on it I get this one same meditation. at one point I got a pulsating blue light ?

Great session offering easy to follow tips if you are having a hard time falling asleep at night. Dr. Alicia recommends that if you are having a hard time letting go of thoughts and worries before bed time taking the time to write these things down. Then deciding not to think about them til tomorrow or visualizing your thoughts like clouds passing through the sky.I know that is easier said than done. She also recommends focusing on something neutral like counting backwards from 100 to give your mind something else to focus on, listening to calming music or a sleep meditation using a deep breathing technique. One of the things I do to wind down for the night is apply lavender oil to the bottoms of my feet, wrists, and on my neck. I inhale this deeply a few times. This helps me to relax. And, if there is a night I am having a hard time falling asleep taking melatonin always helps.
