Simple yet significant
When I was listening to the meditation, my eyes opened because of the word "posture". The speaker mentioned that posture, according to research, affects people's self-esteem. If you don't observe the proper posture, it means that you let self-doubt overpower you, but if otherwise, confidence reigns. You may think that this habit is just simple, but keep in mind that this simple habit is also significant in our lives.

I have been noticing or paying my attention to my posture and it’s very true that when I sit up with my shoulders back I do feel better than when I am slumped over. I feel more alert when my chest is open.

I have found that meditating has helped my posture. Being mindful of a straight back, breathing deeply and evenly and observant of what is going on around you have also helped my self esteem. Taking time for yourself gives you a sense of your own value. I have noticed improvement and I am more confident since practicing mindfulness.

I've definitely made the connection between posture and self esteem or how the self esteem of other people appears in the past. In public I will often remind myself to sit up straight and feel better doing so. It was interesting to have these thoughts confirmed.
