Choose to change
I guess I'm not sure what I need to look for to decide a particular action needs to change

Do not allow the barriers to become permanent conditions in your mind. Find another way and swim like a shark

Conditioning
Am I conditioning my illness? ? I can condition myself to do things automatically. Without thought. I can train my brain. My brain is conditioned, not at all. Condition my brain to do something very small. Morning routine. Night routine.

Conditioning
This story taught I have been conditioned to believe certain things in my past doesn’t mean that I can’t change these beliefs going forward. It also doesn’t mean that and you give long-standing condition beliefs will necessarily serve me well in the future. By way of example, I went to a very competitive high school. In hindsight I believe the experience may have contributed at least partially to me setting l unrealistic standards for myself it has been A Journey learning to be easier on myself. Being aware of the facts conditioning May help to make this journey of self compassion a little bit easier. I am grateful for those who work with this app. Thank you for putting this track together, and making me aware of the effects of conditioning on my thoughts. I am also grateful for the community on this app thank you for taking the time to read this post. I hope everyone is OK, happy, and well.

Thank you for reminding me that often I am thinking that I have a barrier but it is not there. Change is possible

Shark
Thank you for reminding me that I am often held back by invisible barriers. Often I even put them there myself. So I need to move forward and gently test them

Healthy Boundaries
I love this quick lesson in setting boundaries. It’s such a clear picture, I will easily be able to remember this image when struggling with setting a boundary with loved ones, friends (same thing😊) and most definitely coworkers. Thanks Nitima!

Fantastic!
This story was great, Nitima. To picture the boundaries I set in my life, and remembering the times when I did not set them really makes more sense after listening to your story. That is an interesting experiment. I can see that when I set a boundary with someone, I need the strength to hold fast to my decision. Sometimes it must be permanent, and it's important to not let my mind lead me astray. I'm finding more and more tools as I continue my journey to help guide me. I will certainly recall the visualization of the shark and bait fish experiment. I found your story very inspiring. Thank you so much. 🐠

Hmm…?
But didn’t that result in the shark dying? If he stopped eating, he must have starved to death? I don’t understand this one, since it has two meanings…
