It’s really easy to just disconnect from my own pain, but that just makes everything worse. I should work on that.
I don't address it
It's easy to disassociate and lie to others and say I'm ok and to lie to myself and dive into a project so I don't have to think about it. I'm allowed to feel sad and hurt and just be. I have to stop pushing myself down and pushing others away.
I learned that
Suffering is a part of life, its okay to acknowledge the suffering I am enduring. And treat myself with love and compassion moving forward!
Self Compassion Check-In
It was good to be reminded that suffering is part of everyone’s life and I need to be as compassionate towards myself when I am suffering as I would be to someone else. 🙏🏻
