The STOP meditation is a simple way to reconnect to yourself physically, mentally, and emotionally. You can do this practice throughout your day whenever you feel disconnected from yourself. Photo by Simon Berger from Pexels

People will deceive and it makes me question why I so willingly believe in people and their words
Accept people but have no expectation so if they don't have integrity it's not as devastating and it's not personal but who they are and they have to live with their choices

Wisdom and Compassion
I learned that, with this STOP meditation, it's so much better to "invite" my body and my mind to do or change something rather than demand or make it change. Awareness and compassion for self are key.

Stop meditation
If I just stop whatever I'm doing, and focus for a minute on my self, it helps ease some of the tension.

Frantic mind
My stress right now stems mainly from fear. I'm constantly strategizing my next move and possible ways to manipulate the appearance of that move. This moves me further away from my trust in god and grit that I know I have. It's time to work on better self talk as well as reliance on God.

Slow down
What I thought I'd done, was in fact done - despite second guessing. I learned that I have the drive and power to do that which I know I committed to even when many other variables in the day all went incongruent with me likely achieving the preparedness. I learned that no one should try to stop me, simply because I'm not stoppable. In fact, I'm racing in the morning to accomplish that which I set out to.

Vague
I got very distracted during this session unfortunately. But one part did stick with me. I must take time out of my day to just breathe. Whether it be a couple seconds, or minutes, it will help. Reflecting with yourself and understanding what's going on, will calm you down.

Nothing vs Something
My desire to stop and do nothing is extreme. I’ve grown to feel guilty when I am doing nothing and it seems to be a source of anxiety. While I think my drive to do things is great I need to find balance in doing something and doing nothing. Today I feel I have started down that path. Now...time for breakfast!

Thoughts
At the part where he instructed to focus on my thoughts, I learned just how many thoughts go through my head at the same time. Need to find the meditation that will help me control those. But this helped me to really be ok with having all those thoughts. As long as I remember to control the anxiety by saving time to "just be".

STOP MED
I can stop and practice self care any time I am willing. That is all I wish to write.

Taking a few minutes it all I need to relax and relieve some tension in my head.... x
