Accepting | Releasing | Inviting This short refocusing meditation can be done anytime & anywhere to release the tension that is being consciously or unconsciously held in the body (& the mind). We can often encounter multiple stressful events during the day, adopt certain postures and positions of the body that are held for long periods of time, sometimes we don't even realize that there is tension in our muscles until we relax. This exercise accepts the tension and slowly, gently releases the tension using the simple, powerful tool of the breath. Progressively allowing softness into the body, breathing out the tension. Letting go of the tension we are able to reframe to invite relaxation into the body to feel calm & restored.
