Our minds can pull us in many different directions, making it hard to accomplish the task in front of us. This meditation practice focuses on counting the breath to refocus a wandering mind. By practicing shifting our focus to the breath, we are practicing controlling where we shift our focus throughout the day.

Redirecting the mind
I learned that it is okay for thoughts to pop-in our mind the same way clouds cover the sky. It is normal. And by redirecting our attention, we can refocus and be sharper.

Very useful for bringing attention to the moment .
Useful to keep this on board when your mind wanders, by focusing on breathing you are paying attention to something we all do but often ignore.

Counting breaths
I realized that I struggle to stay focused on my breathing when counting my breaths, compared to other visualizations. Maybe it was just this morning, but I had a lot of thoughts interrupting. I will have to keep practicing!

Rowling
Thought about the movie ‘Air’ and thought about understanding trans people that are upset with Rowling. I counted my breaths briefly but then thought about those two things

Refocus
I battled a hamster wheel mind last night when I went to bed. It just wouldn't stop. So, I wanted to make sure to address it this morning. Before it kicks in today!!

Easy flow
This was very easy entry, a little short lived for me to practice bringing my mind back to that anchor breath, but still nice to connect to the body on.
