Realistic thinking / perceived vs actual threat or fear
It is a good reminder to think back on when I am anxious or faced with something that causes me fear. Is it perceived fear based on the task being scary at face value (ie snake in the grass, something I’ve always been taught to be afraid of) vs. actuality (snake is a tiny garden snake and can’t bite if you look more closely)? This is helpful because it uses logic when fear can make me emotional or anxious.
