Negativity Bias
It’s normal and natural for negative bias to kick in. We see a threat and possible mistake it for something else. The important thing to do with people for example, is understand that it is in fact active, understand that the outcome of what they do or look like may have nothing to do with me, but even if it does, is that the worst thing? That’s on them and everything will be ok. Practicing gratitude is known to counteract negativity bias.
