Allow this quick morning meditation to help you manage burnout. During this exercise, we use a visualization technique to recognize, unpack and repack the heavy loads of burden that lead to burnout. How we start the morning sets the tone for our entire day. This practice focuses on mindful breathing, relaxing the body, and listening to our heart.

Morning Meditation: Managing Burnout
I just listened to several burnout tracks, one by one. I’d like to listen to this lovely visualization first, then perhaps another track or two on dealing with burnout! A good set-up for making best use of those approaches, additionally. After a while, other morning meditations on setting intentions, starting the day from a relaxed place, will start to work better, I think. :-)

Letting Go
I learned that I carry too much on my shoulders and a lot of that load is anxiety about other peoples expectations of me or my perceived expectations I think they have of me . I’m letting it go and focusing on what’s important for me and trying to live in the moment and enjoy it without being anxious of things outside of my control .

Removing the backpack
I learned that I have choice in what I carry with me, realizing that I can pause and check in to see what is happening in my life that I can’t control and what I actually have control over. Letting go of the former and focusing my energy on the latter.
