Breathe with Awareness
In this very calming meditation, Dorothy has us bring awareness to our breath by placing one hand on the center of our chest and our other hand on our belly. Placing our hands on these two areas of our body as we breathe can give us a sense of calmness, focus and peace.
While breathing in through my nostrils and breathing out through my mouth, I felt the rising and falling of my chest. Then, I visualized a balloon in my belly, inflating and deflating, with every inhalation and exhalation. After listening to this wonderful meditation, I feel cool, calm, and collected!
