Even though I'm new at meditation I love finding peace in my day and plan to continue through my life.

I Wonder
"I wonder what will happen today", the mantra of this meditation reminded me that nothing is predetermined for each day. It helped me realize how much I live in the assumption of how events will play out, because they are common occurrences. But really no experience will seem exactly the same as another if I am aware and engaged.

Keeping my mind open
This meditation brought my attention to the fact that sometimes I begin to have expectations "today is going to busy and stressful" "things will be tough today" but we do not know how each day will be and in not knowing, we can keep our minds open and allow our positivity to create a day we choose, a day we wish to have.

Our greatest blessing. We learn about the power of innocence, laughter, learning, love, courage, bravery, curiosity, wonder, discovery, happiness, and joy through their expression. New life gives us new perspective. In my case my daughter saved my life. It was through parenting that I learned to say stop. I have learned I am enough. Children are born innocent. Through their eyes that we learn about the world.

I have learnt that a lot of people on this app pick feeling excellent after each meditation while they either feel neutral or good. Perhaps very good. But no actually feels excellent. Because how could you feel excellent in an illusion that we are all aware off.

I don't know what happened, either I was too giddy or just unable to relax, but this made me feel almost worse. I couldn't keep my eyes closed, couldn't relax, and I started to become a bit stressed if I'm being honest. I wish I knew what it was but this recording just wasn't good for me.

Im just going to sleep and then I get a meditation which is about starting the day open for possibilities. Tried doing the thoughts and openness for tomorrow and this worked quite well. Still, Im not completely into this one.

last night Full Luna illuminated the darkness, a bird in the trees outside our window was certainly fooled, she sang her song over and over again “Whipoorwill, whippoorwill...” I thought about getting up to close the window but changed my mind when I looked down into our backyard, moon shadows and silver reflected light had transformed it into a magic world of nocturnal otherness the air was still, the stars glittered in magnificent silence, a supporting cast to the moon’s command performance I climbed back into bed and drifted off to sleep, grateful for having witnessed such rare, fleeting beauty.

This woman took a lot more pauses between her words than the others have (maybe because this is my first seven minute long one) which gave me more time to let my mind wander. This wasn’t very helpful. It’s okay though! I’m still learning! :)

People care about me. Ramona asked how I was doing today. It was unexpected that she remembered and cared enough to ask. I told her about some of the challenges, such as fatigue and memory is worse. I didn’t downplay it, nor exaggerate. It is simply what it is. But what I should have said was thank you.

“I wonder what will happen today!” I love the idea of beginning my day with this question. Not only does the question open the door to endless possibilities, it allows me to begin my day with childlike wonder. Looking through the lens of childlike wonder allows me to be present to the moment. (I did the 3 minute meditation by accident; going back to try the 7 minute meditation.) 🙏💐🙏

I listened to the 7 minute meditation. I still am having difficulty getting back into meditation. My mind did wander and rather than following suggestions, my mind went to the wonder of life itself, the wonder of birth, the wonder of friendship and the joy and wonder surrounding Christmas. I guess I will have to try this meditation again when I am more receptive and can concentrate.

This meditation was an excellent choice for me this morning. I’m really doing very well in terms of staying present off and on throughout the day, mostly when it’s very important that I need to be present. But throughout this entire meditation my mind really wanted to think about my older sister! I’m not bothered by it because it helps me resolve things that have happened in the past. I’ve been doing a lot of writing in my journal lately, not on this app. I really like the feel of the pen gliding across the paper as the thoughts flow out. Feels good 💫

This is by far my favorite mediation that I’ve ever done. My favorite part was bringing awareness to the tingling sensation of energy in my hands and the warmness of excitement in my chest and just sitting in that circle of energy and warmth. I also did this mediation sitting in a sunlit room and it made it even more enjoyable.

Sitting, open to abundance, wonder, and curiosity. What does this day bring to my household? And it totally blows me away that my dogs, even my puppy knows the beautiful sound of my stillness when I sit. The glory of sentient critters! We seriously need a LOVE REVOLUTION to make America whole again ...MAWA. Anyone want to make caps? But jokes aside, we have a responsibility to be compassionate to those without our awareness, which comes with meditation and introspection.

7 min practice != two 3-minute practice
several of Aura 7 minute practices have become repetitions of two 3-minute practice when you choose the 7 minute practice. it is disturbing and one loses focus when there's disrupting music in the middle and the session starts so over again

I love this. Especially after a body scan. Note to self: no more body scans for me unless it is right when I wake, rested, haven’t dealt with gravity yet, the puppies are still under the covers and that could work. BUT having just finished Aura’s suggested/recommended session for the day, a body scan having been up five hours already, this was such an energizing and NON PAINFUL session!!

For so long it’s been easier to wake up and say f*** this. But when I focus on positive it is sometimes difficult. I do see the way both attitudes affect my universe. I have been working on myself so much and have a long way to go. I am confident that this sentence will be a great way to a new beginning of each day.
