Lost it
I found that I totally drifted away from the session, lost the thread completely.
Whelp! On with my day! Actually working today! Designing a batch of displays for an old friend to sell several collections of vintage jewelry at a show.
Learned about something awesome too! Did you know that there is a super rare ”precious stone” known as Fordite? It's precious because there is only a finite quantity of it in existence! It's made from the built-up layers of enamel paint used in Detroit to paint automobiles in the past, before the government regulated the kinds of paint which could be used the hard overspray left on the equipment, walls and floors of the painting lines at outfits like Ford (hence ”Fordite”) was at one time harvested, cut and polished into really neat carbachons, and set into jewelry settings! Totally unique and beautiful. And since the auto manufacturers can no longer use these kinds of paint on your cars, there will never be any more of it in existence! As a ”Ford guy” I'm trying to get to keep one of these pieces in trade for my help! If you're interested, heck out more here! http://www.fordite.com
