Enjoy an Attention Restoration Meditation break at least every 90 minutes at work. Give your mind a self-compassion break so that you can resume work with renewed focus. Put aside the time needed to be fully with this meditation and use earphones so that you can block out noise in your environment. After enjoying the meditation, give yourself a few moments to sit and simply “be.” Nature sounds courtesy of listeningearth.com. Wondered what they meant. After realizing it is bird sounds it must be a bird. Enjoyed the sounds of birdsong to start my day.

Occupying
I guess my mind was so occupied with listening to all the different bird calls it really did not have time to think any original thoughts. And I am ok with that.

In anticipation of things, I miss out on experiencing the present moment. Be present to what is.
Stay present and enjoy what is here and now. Be present to my feelings, thoughts, attitudes. Check in with myself. Be present of my environment. Slow down. Breathe.

Be present
Anticipation of the future causes me to miss the present moment. Tune in to here and now. This is reality. Enjoy and appreciate it. Check in to how I’m feeling, thinking and my attitude. Be present of my environment. Be here now

Nature Sounds
It’s dark, overcast. It’s also 32-degrees and freezing rain. School’s closed, the roads are a mess. I love dark, cold weather … but it’s nice to have a peak at the tropics. 😉

Mind Drifter
I learned that... I have a hard time staying in the present and listening to the sounds around me. My mind is constantly drifting to what I need to get done the next day, dieting, etc. It seems as if it's main job is to stress me out when i need to be proud of the things I got done that day.

Nature is the best medicine. People talk about holistic approaches to medication, nature is certainly the best medicine for the mind.

Wandering
I noticed that my mind has a tendency to lose focus of the sounds and wander into thoughts about my day, my friends, and the upcoming day. I learned that I can refocus my mind and ultimately it makes me feel good enough to plan my next positive step towards self-actualization.

Marvelous Monday 3-19-18
Wow! I totally felt like I was in a bird sanctuary or a forest full of birds. It was absolutely beautiful. It felt tropical. I especially like at one point, a certain bird calling out as if he was calling to others; and you can hear his echoes. It was awesome! Thank you, Aura! Have a nice day, Everyone!😀

Birds in winter
I loved this. It’s been so cold this winter with spring trying to show its face. The sounds of the birds brought sunshine and warmth to my mind. Reminding me to move through my day with fluidity and grace.

A different type of peace
This one was different. I still benefitted by receiving the mindful peace that I enjoy so much with meditation. This one was beautiful with the sounds of nature, making me feel more aware and alert in a new, rejuvenating way.

For the Birds
This will really refocus your attention! Listening to the chirping, peeping, singing and especially the “whistler” was fun and relaxing. I smiled through the whole seven minutes. Thanks. 😁❤️

Interesting
No narrative, no instructions, no lesson. I'd say this one was ”for the birds” but that would be too ”on-the-nose”🤪 I hope everyone in the Aura tribe had a fun, relaxing Christmas day!

Animal sounds
I learned that the bush is a very noisy place. Listening to the bird calls was - at first - jarring and confronting but as I got used to it I began to relax and appreciate it. By the end I was enjoying it and then it stopped and I missed it.

At Home
It is good for our psyche to take some time and ‘just be’ with the sights and sounds of nature. In this lovely meditation, Kristy takes us on an adventure through an exotic place of our choosing. I visualized walking in a place I’ve always been intrigued to experience, on a trail through the jungle of Costa Rica. As I walked along on this meandering trail, I began smelling and tasting the moist air enter my lungs and the lush green vegetation brush up against my skin. My ears began experiencing the music of nature that inhabit this exotic place. Looking around, my eyes were delighted to see monkeys sway from limb to limb and become witness to an array of colorful birds perched on branches. Experiencing all the sights and sounds this exotic place has to offer, I felt ‘at home’. Perhaps it is because I know that one day, I’ll be able to experience this exotic place for real. Ahhh....☺️

How I feel—-I feel I’m getting there to where I need to be by listening to 2
I learned that listening to calming music and words are teaching me to love myself , how to relax tension in my mind and body, that I can be worthy of love even if it comes from myself. I’m not yet there to independence and a sense of safety, I still worry about the evil I see I the newspaper and hear about in the news, the mystery of death,I have Fargo go but I’m getting there I hope

Mind
Thoughts: good, bad, anxious, worry, wonder, and excitement all jumbled. Can’t reign them in. Very unfocusing.
