I learned that thoughts are impermanent and can pass through like clouds if we let thfm

Impermanence
Thoughts and feelings are impermanent if you let them be. Anxiety must be allowed, and felt, to pass. If I fight the feeling, it will intensify before it passes. Let it be.

Let them be
We should learn to stop trying to avoid problems and thoughts. Instead, we should try to understand them, analyse them, FEEL them while they are as pure as a river. They can’t hurt us unless we are afraid of them and we constrict ourselves to behave in a different way just because of them. We should let them pass. Build a mind status that allow us to face them intelligently.

Thoughts are like cars passing by....
Thoughts are like cars passing by. When you are hung up on a thought you sit in the passenger seat. When you are mindful it is NOT that you stop the traffic - mindfulness is more like sitting relaxed under a tree by the road, letting the cars pass while you calmly observe.

Do not fight or resist the thought, but acknowledge it, its importance and then tell it to leave; to float on like a passing cloud. What we resists persist. How I respond to the thought is completely up to me.

I have a choice to allow thoughts and feelings to take up space in my mind and body. Holding on to the positive will help letting the negative go.

Everything is temporsry
Things that you spend so much time stressing about often end up over-thought and over-complicated. Learning to be at peace with thoughts that come up will help me not to overreact, and realise that negative thoughts don’t have to take over. I am in control of what I choose to think about.

Racing thoughts... racing clouds.
Profoundly beneficial to have racing thoughts compared to racing clouds; that this is, in fact, the fundamental nature of the mind. I would never have discovered this basic truth on my own!
