We often react to events and situations that we later end up feeling sorry for. You can learn to respond to situations with clarity, empathy and patience. This helps avoid unnecessary pain and disappointment and leads to a much calmer and happier life for us and others.

Controlled Reactions
I learned that I actually am able to respond intentionally and don’t need to react all the time.

Pausing before we respond
I learnt that it is best to practice mindfulness, understand the things that might trigger our emotions. Pausing before reacting to such situations, taking the time to let the anger/ emotion flow away before we respond with compassion/empathy and love as well. This is also a good way to understand our trauma triggers and deal with them in a different way.
