I have been practicing gratitude for the past four years by writing a couple things a day in the journal (or in a note app. Sometimes, though, the practice gets a little stale, and I record these too mechanically. I just saved this meditation as something I might do every day before I write these things down. It really helped me focus on fresh, unique things to be thankful for.

I liked the progressive meditation, first making me think on the fly (always a challenge for an introvert like myself) then focusing I the heart and a blue light spreading out from it, then ending with gentle movement. I was surprised at the 3 experiences that popped into my head as the most transformative. I have replaced these with 3 more thoughtful images but both sets are important to understanding myself. Also pleased I could come up with 3 strengths right away-it’s good to be nice to myself. Namaste

I learned that focusing on all I’m blessed with makes the minor inconveniences and trivial disagreements I have pale in comparison. I’m always reminded of this when I spend time in nature and experience the beauty of the natural order of things as they are and do not have to struggle or strive to be. Or the vastness of the Universe as I’m in a natural, peaceful place and the perspective it brings about my problems as a part of space and time. I can’t always spend that time in nature but certainly can use this meditation to remind me of all I have to be grateful for.

Meditation with eyes closed and with eyes opened are two different experiences. With eyes open I’ve found that softening the gaze as distant as possible is best for me. I was concerned about dry eyes but if you gently allow your eyelids to blink on their own, they will take care of you.

Struggled to relax because trying to pick the right/perfect moments or memories to focus on and felt rushed and got distracted by that..when I stopped overthinking and just let be whatever arises however imperfect that’s when I really enjoyed this and let warmth wash all over me. I learned this comes up for me a lot where I miss out on simple happy moments due to overthinking so it’s a good reminder. When a certain phrasing the narrator uses doesn’t suit me I change oh instead of getting hung up on it :). In this track I changed “the way it should” to “the way it’s meant to”. Ended feeling uplifted compared to start.

Exploding...
Fantastical meditation! I actually paused it after the 2nd set she suggests to give me time to get the visual images of the three things or people she mentions. This allowed me to truly get a good, clear image of them and send a gratitude vibe to each. Worked really well for me that way! Then she got me to touch/connect to my glowing & growing Heart Chakra which kept expanding and growing until it encompasses my whole upper body. It morphs with my Crown Chakra and explodes upward and outward like a huge firework display spreading love and showering the world with glowing rays of Gratitude!! Thank you Aura, that was mind blowing! 🎇 ❤️☮️🍀

I am grateful that I am breathing right now. I am alive and healthy. I have people that seem to care about me. I have things that I do and care about. I have a few goals that I am working my way towards. Once I achieve them, I move on to the next thing. I am grateful that I don't have to worry about fulfilling my bare necessities. I have something to fill my belly with, something to cover my body with, and a roof over my head. I have access to high quality education at an affordable price. I am grateful for these things.

Sometimes we can get down on ourselves because we are not where we thought we would be at this point of our lives or perhaps because an event occurred that put our lives on a different path. Either way, we can begin to question our lives. It is during these times of uncertainty that we should look within and find qualities we do like about ourselves and be grateful. In the same manner, we should look around at others in our lives with a sense of gratitude. Be kind to ourselves and others. We are exactly where our lives are supposed to be, unfolding as it should. 🙏🏻❤️😊

I wanted to go back and experience the longer initial breathing exercise but couldn’t see where ...
The second exercise... would have preferred if the person spoke more softly... and it actually started to make me feel unsettled but it was a good cleansing thing but it was too short and stopped too abruptly... for me I needed to imagine a soft pink light... a heart light like a Himalayan salt lamp emanates... or rose quartz... I wanted to continue... just needed a longer session maybe 30 min for that one... breathing and gratitude are key for me... realized I need to try to do this upon waking ...

Were different than what I would have thought ... the experience of Hawai’i ... the cleansing and commitment of renewal in the ocean in Ogunquit and finally finding my way home through it... my two soulmate doggies ... my son and daughter... being brought into my life ... all have a common soulful thread...

Apparently I favorited this meditation a long time ago but I haven't listened to it in a while and it is great IMHO . Really got me feeling good this morning and reminded me that in my world things are easy. In my world I am supported by the heavens and the earth. And for that I am truly grateful. 💖🌈🤣

Needing to connect with my body more
As I was listening, feeling the blue light gaze over my body, I realized that I am not at one with myself. I need to take more time out of my days and|or nights to connect with my body & my heart. It was such a good feeling to feel at ease. It’s like the world stopped.

I find meditating helps out to during the day to help her out early in the morning when you wake up for a good 30 minutes When the sun is going down desk 30 minutes 30 minutes right before going to bed as well. Helps out a lot too in person was time to yourself you can call it your clarity moment or just to reflect if that’s what you’re into during the day and night is will.

I couldn't help but smile throughout this. It's so easy to recall horrible and heartbreaking events to mind and replay them over and over until you go crazy, but when something amazing happens you don't recall it. This gave me power to remember the little things that make me smile and giggle and fill with sunshine. It gave me the power to recognize my life as something that isn't always horrible.

I am also grateful for my choice to major in sociology and college .
