Self Awareness during Chaos
Using all of your senses to feel the world around you and switching the focus to your internal condition is such a calming technique. To me it was like feeling the chaos all around me in the world, but finding stillness inside myself. I'll definitely be saving this lesson for another time.

I learned that... Going through each sense, picking three things that you see, hear, feel, etc. , acknowledging and naming them, then letting them go allows me to relax for a moment. Become mindful. Then taking a deep breath of gratitude, maybe the concerns are easier to handle.

Oh To Be Alive
I love grounding meditations such as this. It is so helpful to be reminded of simple things, breath, touch, sight, smell, and how lucky we are to be able to experience it. It helped make life feel a little simpler and any current issues not feel so heavy. I am alive, I can breathe in the fresh air, see the beautiful things, smell delicious smells, and feel the wind fluttering around my body. I am alive.
