My Garden
When our chakras are open, energy flows easily throughout our body. We feel vibrant and relaxed. Inflammation levels are low. Life is good. However, when life throws us a curveball, a lot of us get stressed out. Inflammation levels begin expanding, giving rise to possible dis-eases of the body. As we struggle, our chakras close off and life becomes hard. In this relaxing, yet rejuvenating meditation, Audrey has us visualize our chakras open much like a flower blooming on a warm spring day. Last night, I was submitting some nature pictures to NWF, or National Wildlife Federation for their photography contest. All was fine until it wasn’t. The website stopped working properly and frustration settled in my body. My heart and head pounding, I was on the brink of giving up when I received an email that the deadline was extended. Relieved, I worked on calming myself and went to bed. Even so, I woke up extremely tired and out of whack this morning. Was it possible my chakras needed some revamping and opening?! Going through my garden, I noticed my energy centers needed some tending to. At each chakra, I tilled the soil and watered it. Soon, purple irises, indigo hyacinths, blue forget-me-nots, green hydrangeas, yellow daisies, orange cosmos and red geraniums began to bud and bloom. With every flower open, my garden is vibrant and thriving. Inviting all that life has to offer, spring has sprung at my garden! Thank you, Audrey! Namaste 🙏🏻🌻🌷🌺
